A comfortable environment enables students to
pursue their interests
A school
life filled with new encounters and discovery
Our lessons are not limited to classroom lectures but include events such
as flower viewing in spring (parties under cherry trees) and summer picnics
that enable students to familiarize themselves with nature and develop friendships
with teachers and with students from various countries. We also hold the
Japanese Speech Contest, which attracts great attention every year, and
organize an exchange program with students from the neighboring Maruyama
Elementary School. These events make your school life more enjoyable. Also,
you will be able to learn the history of Sapporo and Hokkaido and understand
citizen life by participating in inspection tours of various cultural facilities.
Students learning under the program of Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language
will attend these off-campus events as volunteers, helping you to get the
most from these opportunities.
