A dream has come true. This is what I feel for being here in Sapporo.
Since my childhood, I've been deeply interested in Japanese Culture. For
this reason, now that I' m studying Japanese at university, I came here
to improve it. And this school has been the best choice. The teachers
are so kind, and their ways of teaching are very helpful to let you learn
Japanese in an easier way. Obviously you have to study hard, but if you
do it day by day there will be no problem. And of course Sapporo has so
many places waiting to be explored...Unfortunately I' m here only for
3 months, but after graduating from my university, I hope I can come back to
Sapporo to study at JLI soon. So all of you that in
this crazy world want to study Japanese, come here in Sapporo, because
I' m sure there will be no regrets.

I have been very fortunate to come to Sapporo to study Japanese.
The best and fastest way to learn another language is to be immersed within
the culture of that language. The people of Sapporo are very open and
friendly and so daily life is quite enjoyable. Within the school it is
nice to make friends who all share in the common goal of communicating
in Japanese. The school itself has always treated me very well, they provide
the grammar, and vocabulary, it is up to you to make them work.

School names often express how the school
is like.
Let's take a look at our school name.
- "Sapporo" - The school is not far from downtown area. It takes
about only 10 minutes from Odori Park which became famous for Snow Festival.
- "Kokusai (International)" - Students learning here are from
many different countries, just like Sapporo being an international city.
So there are good chances to know about other countries, not only about
Japan. So you don't have to save up a lot of money to go to differnt countries.
You can just stay here learning Japanese, and have a good time talking
about our cultures with.
- "Nihongo(Japanese)" - Classes are conducted only in Japanese.
There are good "classrooms" outside of school, too. There are
a lot of opportunities to practice Japanese with Japanese people in Sapporo.
- "Gakuin(Institute)" - Teachers are so kind and well-experienced
that they provide high-quality classes. No matter what the goal is (for
example, going to university or grad school, working for a Japanese company
etc), if you try hard, you can surely get enough knowledge to make it.
This school is not very big, but you can do whatever you want!

I'm having an experience that can't be forgotten for my whole life. The
most wonderful thing is that I made good friends with many people. Sometimes
I get tired and feel like throwing out everything, but my friends are
always by my side to support me. Of course, the time spent in Korea and
what I studied will be a help for my life, but studying in Japan made
my view much broader than before.
Meeting with people from different countries, learning their cultures
directly from them cannot be made if I didn't go outside of Korea. Would
you become a good friend of mine, too?

Course
A half year has passed since I came to Japan.
I was surprised to see how busy Sapporo city was and thought it was just
like my hometown. But I felt better to find out that as I was coming closer
to my dorm, it was getting more quiet. There are both busy places and
quiet places in Sapporo. I usually study in my room or see a nice view
outside of the window. Whenever I have a spare time, I enjoy shopping
at department stores in downtown area.
We can observe the changing of the seasons here. I love nature, so I like
sunny days and snowy days.
Also, you can understand more about Japanese cultures thourgh various
events such as Snow Festival or Hina-matsuri. So I think living in Sapporo
is a full of excitement.
